Dominant point defects in the Cd(Zn)Te single crystals were determined, the method of 2nd phase inclusion elimination from these crystals was developed, the influence of PCd changes of cooling rate on Cd(Zn)Te electrical and optical properties were investigated; the composition limits of polished, unpolished and selective etchants were determined; the interaction mechanism of semiconductors and etchant solutions were studied; the yield and reproducibility of Ag dodecahedron nanoparticles (~60 m) under magnetic field synthesys were increased.
