The main objectives of the study: 1) Conduct analysis of training system of social area professionals, which operates in Ukraine. 2) Develop a concept of training, retraining and advanced training of social workers 3) Analyze interactive teaching technologies, determine features of their introduction. 4) Describe the features of the introduction of interactive teaching methods in higher education 5) Identify innovative approaches to training of professional in social area 6) Disclose the principles of organization and implementation of social and pedagogical training. 7) Develop a program of training for the teaching professionals from social sector in the form of training sessions. Research methods: - Analysis of legal frameworks; - Content analysis of scientific and technical literature and the results of sociological research on the research topic. Results and novelty: The main components of vocational training of professionals from social sector were defined; Concept of training, retraining and advanced training for professional from social sector was developed.. Organizational and didactic components of the socio-pedagogical training as an effective interactive technology of education for adults were defined, adult education, curriculum and training program for professionals from social sector was developed. Methodology for assessing professional knowledge and skills necessary for professionals in social area was tested; features of using interactive methods in higher education and in the system of retraining and professional development in social area were defined.
