The estimation methods of residual strength of the piping elements (straight pipe and tee joint) with defects are developed based on the limit load static theorem of plastic theory. Series of the full-scale testing are carried out up to fracture of piping elements with surface defects for the confirmation of the correctness of the suggested methods. The agreed with design standards guidelines are developed for the determination the admissible wall-thickness of the piping elements, made of carbon steel, contained erosion-corrosive defects
