. Object of study -open-top wagon model 12-9745 manufactured by limited liability company "Experimental mechanical plant "Karpaty"". Object of work - experimental researches on the determination of actual values of technical characteristics for open-top wagon model 12-9745 for assessing their conformity to the requirements of applicable normative documents and technical documentation for the wagon. Research results for clearance and short radius curve negotiation, tare weight determination, geometry determination, static strength tests, impact tests and static brake tests of open-top wagon model 12-9745 are stated in this report and a conclusion about their conformity to the requirements of the normative documentation was given. Research work results are used when preparing to the batch manufacturing of open-top wagon model 12-9745.5481
