Creating the methodology and mathematical tools for solving problems of the integrated energy systems development. Proposed methodology is based on complex use of distributed micro power stations with distributed generation, with taking into consideration the existing infrastructure of the region, resource base, the potential of renewable energy, environmental constraints, economic and social risks. Development and testing the methods of structural and functional content of micro power stations, considering a wide range of the operational conditions and really existing level of information ensuring. The implementation of a physical model of the micro power station with complex use of distributed generation sources on the basis of the laboratory "sources of distributed generation" and formation of local "intelligent" energy system of the building number 22 of the ІEE NTU "KPI" campus.
