Research the General chart of planning of territory of Ukraine. A purpose of work is preparation on the basis of scientific analysis of processes which take place in a town-planning sphere at state level, suggestions in relation to making alteration in the General chart of planning of territory of Ukraine. In NDR decided tasks, which allow to conduct the comprehensive analysis of social-economic and town-planning processes which took place on territory of Ukraine for period of realization of the General chart of planning of territory of Ukraine. The results of the research stage are presented in a scientific report. Executed NDR will be instrumental in the important state job realization of the General chart of planning of territory of Ukraine processing, will provide the increase of efficiency of development of town-planning document on national and regional levels.
