As a result of the work the technology of pretreatment of whey before electrodialisys was developed. Also two process flow sheets of wastewater treatment, obtained after nanofiltration of whey were developed. The first flow chart consists of two stages: electrodialysis and low pressure reverse osmosis. The second process flow sheet is based on the pre-concentration of wastewater by high pressure reverse osmosis, followed by demineralization by electrodialysis and final concentration of diluate to lactose content of 200 g/l.
