Object of study is characteristics of composite reinforcement which, due to its physical and mechanical properties, could be used for the reinforcement of slabs structures of bridge spans. The objective of work is to analyze characteristics of non-metallic reinforcement rods for reinforcing slabs of bridge spans; to develop guidelines on the use of non-metal reinforcement rods for reinforcing slabs structures of bridge spans. Recommendations provide with the perspectives of flexible design solutions and reducing cost of works on maintenance and repair of bridges and overpasses.
