It was defined, that the promotion of science in universities needs to be clarified its place among other modern knowledge productions. Conceptual bases of scientific knowledge and research as a generalization of the modern image of science are defined. We analyzed aspects of the formation of new knowledge productions and the question of awareness of their place in the university. Epistemological and methodological basis of scientific and other knowledge industries is defined. The problems of scientific research & education centers forming and scientific kernel of universities are considered. We considered the typization questions of modern knowledge systems and knowledge productions. It was clarified norms and features of scientific knowledge in the pedagogical aspects of the concept of scientific explanation and prediction, laws and regularities. The typology of educational research is formed. It is shown that among the projects of modern pedagogical research in the country occupy a prominent position such that are not scientific, and can be attributed to practice-methodological and practice-professional "action research". We formed epistemological, methodological, pedagogical and socio -economic foundations of scientific training of undergraduates in universities. On this foundations we created a new interdisciplinary integrative curriculum on the platform of scientific research foundations course.
