It was systematized many terms used in operating activities of banks, scientific activities of banking specialists, which research the development problems of banking system; it is researched the normative documentation of international standards of accounting and financial reports and problems of their translation, and the analysis of lexicographical sources that are used by experts allowed to specify a list of major categories and concepts that ensure the information flows in modern practice banks; it was made the comparison of terminological systems of English and Ukrainian languages; the peculiarities of functioning and specifics of translation of terminology units of banking sector was determined; the main concepts and definitions were analyzed that used in terminology; it was concluded the bilingual translation dictionary of modern banking terminology with interpretations and information materials.
