Object of recearch - objects of oil refining idustry. Subject of research - directions of ensuring fire safety in modern conditions. Purpose of work - identifying new approaches and directions of ensuring fire safety of oil refining industries that corrspond to modern conditions and trends in Ukraine. Methods of research - analytical (analysis of national and foreign normative base technical documentation, scientific publication, information prospects, manuals, handbooks and other literature sources). Results of the research work: analytical reviews of techniques and methods of extinquishing fires in oil refineries, organizing fire protection of the technologies objects oilfield industry, fire risk assessment and fire hazards of oil refineries, propositions for for formulation new research works. Results of the research work are planned to use in the process of formulation the propositions of new research works. Analytical information may serve as a scientific basis in the part of making administrative decisions in fire and anthropogenic safety of oil refining industry. During the researches it was analyzed national and foreign normative acts that regulate the ensuring of fire and anthropogenic safety of oil refining industry.5481
