The model of hydrogen embrittlement of the metal, which accounts the effect of hydrogen on the mechanism of viscous and brittle fracture was improved based on modern concepts of brittle strength. Numerical scheme of the model implemented in a software, which is used by a finite element package designed for the calculation of the stress-strain state. Using this software the model parameters were determined for steels VSt3sp, 10HN3MD and high strength weld metal based on experiments. The formation of cold cracks in the process of a slow destruction was and analyzed.
