Object of research - evaluation of the energy value of feeds for poultry. Purpose of research - improve methods for analysis and evaluation of energy value of feeds and experimental setting of metabolizable energy content in feed for poultry of different species, age and cross. Research carried out by conventional methods zootechnical evaluation of the energy value, digestibility study and balance of nutrients and productivity of poultry. Based on the research done by calculating the values of metabolizable energy in top components of feed for poultry of various species and groups. Methodical approaches to determining the values of metabolizable energy in feed and the technique of direct calorimetry.
