At research stage № 1 studies of influence of adding to material of cathodes of PTET, carbon nanotubes (CNT), admixtures of Cs, LaNi5, and bor-nitride nanotubes are executed. It is set that at addition of metallic connections an emission current substantially (almost on two orders) increases as compared to clean CNT. Adding of bor-nitride nanotubes to CNT increases their temperature stability considerably, but results in reduction of conductivity of cathode and, accordingly, emission current.
