Clinical observation, laboratory clinical and bacteriological examination of 235 patients with gastrointestinal salmonellosis was made as part of the research work of the Chair. Reduction of NBT test to 2-3 standard or standards rise to 10 or more as evidence of an imbalance of granulocyte-level non-specific immune reaction was proved. The results suggest that in patients with acute intestinal infections indicators of oxidative stress and antiendotoxic immunity are depend vary significantly on the cause, severity and period of the disease.
