Aim of research: development of chemo- and regioselective methods of the synthesis of new oxygen- and nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compounds ( Building blocks), annulated or substituted of cage-like fragments, based on industrially available materials - Endic anhydride (bicyclo[2.2.1]hept- 5-ene-endo, endo-2 ,3-dicarboxylic acid anhydride) and different groups of epoxides (3,4-epoxysulfolane, dicyclopentadiene dioxide, oxides of p- nitrostyrene and cyclohexene, glycidyl derivatives) systematization of new data relating to processes of intramolecular heterocyclisation that occur with the participation of aminoalcohol and epoxy fragments; study of neurotrophic activity of the synthesized compounds, the analysis of structure-activity relationships, the definition of leader compounds. Methods: spectral (IR spectrometry, 1H and 13C NMR methods COSY, NOESY, HMQC, HMBC, mass-spectrometry), quantum-chemical methods , X-ray analysis . Developed convenient methods of synthesis of new amino alcohols and sulfonamides with the participation of a number of amines of norbornene, norbornane, adamantane family and 3,4-epoxysulfolane, performed a comprehensive spectral study of the products obtained. On an example of amino alcohols with fragments of p-nitrostyrene and cyclohexane investigated methods of functionalization of their alternative reaction centers. The method of synthesis of new heteropolycyclic system 4-azatetracyclo[ 4.4.2.0.0 ]undecane based on dicyclopentadiene dioxide. With the use of the data of quantum-chemical calculations of the regularities of the reaction mechanisms of amines with 3,4- epoxysulfolane. The biological activity (analgesic , anticonvulsant, anxiolytic , hypoxic, anti-inflammatory) and acute toxicity of a number of amino alcohols and sulfonamides are investigated, the dependence of the strength of the biological action of the structural and electronic factors. The results obtained may be used to design of new drugs having valuable properties, but also to solve some theoretical and experimental organic chemistry.
