The database (over 100 compounds) of the catalytic properties of 3d metals in the liquid-phase oxidation of dibenzyl ether (DBE) by air oxygen. Adequate 2D QSPR PLS-model Structure-property with high predictive ability was constructed. Structural factors that facilitate or hinder the expression of the above properties studied of metal complexes were identified. Series of new bigeteroaryl derivatives - 2-(2-amino-4-arylthiazol-5-yl)-pyrimidin-4(1H)-ones and 6-methyl-2(1-R-5-phenyl-1H-3-oxyimidazol-4-yl)-pyrimidin-4(1H)-ones - was obtained using products of bromination and nitrosation of 2-(2-oxo-2-aryletyliden)-2,3-dihydropyrimidin-4(1H)-ones.
