Object of study – dual system electric interregional train which comprises nine cars of following models: 1) 62-7066 – head car with a driver’s cabin and open second class saloon, on bogies with asynchronous motor drive; 2) 62-7067 – intermediate car with open first class saloon; 3) 62-7068 – intermediate car with open second class saloon; 4) 62-7069 – intermediate car with open second class saloon, bar and areas for transporting disabled persons in wheelchairs; 5) 62-7070 – intermediate car with open third class saloon, manufactured by JSC “Kriukov car building works”, “EC Engineering” (Poland) and co-contractors on Technical assignment 62.7066.ТЗ approved in 2010 by MPS. Object of work – carrying out acceptance braking tests in order to determine correspondence of electric train brakes indexes and characteristics to Technical Assignment and normative documents in force. Research method – stationary and running braking tests of the electric train.
