The kinetics of atmospheric and kiln wood drying and the coefficients of drying and moisture conductivity on the basis of which the dependence of the duration of the process of atmospheric and kiln lumber drying has been studied. Using the coefficients of hydraulic conductivity, moisture absorption and drying rates, which experimentally determined, mathematical model synthesized that describes the dependence of the Nusselt criterion that depends on the Fourier criterion and the Reynolds criterion, i.e. hydrodynamics and mass transfer processes have been synthesized. Recommendations for research and technology of permanent low-temperature regimes (atmospheric and chamber) lumbe drying process have been done.
