Karazin popup.description2 Investigation of influence of copper, zinc, aluminum and iron ions on lysozyme fibrillization was performed. It was found that metals influence on kinetics of fibril growth depends on ion type and molar ration lipid:ion. It was demonstrated, that copper and iron ions modulate membranotropic activity of amyloid and native lysozyme. These effects depend on membrane composition and protein structural state. The capability of amyloid lysozyme fibrils to insert into the phospholipid monolayers composed of DMPC and its mixtures with DMPG or DMPS was studied using Langmuir monolayer technique. Electrostatic interactions were shown to play significant role in the interaction of lysozyme fibrils and monomers with model membranes. Fibrillar lysozyme was found to possess a greater ability to penetrate the lipid monolayer compared to the native protein. Product Description popup.authors Вус К. Гірич М. Горбенко Г.
