The influence of the chemical composition of the zeolite precursor UTL, their hydrolytic stability were investigated, methods of selforganizing 2D zeolites in the presence of cationic surfactants (swelling), as well as ways of pillaring to form zeolite monolayers and obtain crystalline mesoporous materials were developed . It was established that Ge zeolites UTL in certain range of chemical composition are hydrolytically unstable and can be delaminated by acid treatment (0.01 - 0.1 N HCl) at 95 ° C to maintain the integrity of the zeolite while maintaining " silicate layers".
