Research object : HCl solutions in mixtures of n-alcohols; solvolysis of dinitrophenilchloride; electrochemical oxidation of methanol and phenol on the metal oxide electrode and the properties of silver sulphate reference electrode in an aqueous-alcoholic media. Objective is to determine the physical and chemical characteristics of the mixtures n-alcohols, solvolysis constants of dinitrophenilchloride; reveal catalytic activity Ni-Cu electrode in the oxidation of methanol and phenol; improve silver sulfate reference electrode potential by stabilizing the stationary potential of system. Methods and the outfit: experimental (kinetic experiment, conductometry, voltammetry , titration , chromatography) , mathematical processing of experiment data. Results: The new data for the density , dielectric constant for mixtures of n - alcohols , determined conductance hydrogen chloride in these systems. Experimentally studied nucleophilic substitution in aromatic systems during metanolіsys of dinitrochlorobenzene. New data on the solubility of silver sulfate in mixed solvents. The catalytic activity of new electrode materials based on copper , nickel, tin (IV) oxide in methanol and the oxidation of phenols . Novelty: The influence of the solvent on the ionogena dissociation and solvolysis of dinitrophenilchloride, grounded the improvement of reference electrodes, confirmed the hypothesis on the catalytic activity of new electrode materials. Scope and area of possible applications: the design of the synthesis of drugs, in wastewater treatment plants of the chemical industry , standards for laboratory conductometry and potentiometry
