The existing approaches to solving the problem of optimal inventory control strategy synthesis in the supply networks under uncertainty is considered. The mathematical models of supply networks as automatic control objects in the form of discrete linear state-space models derived from balance sheet ratios for stock levels of resources in the network nodes. The mathematical description of the distributed supply network into account uncertainties in external demand and delays in replenishment. Equivalent models without delays was built on the basis of expansion of the state space. Proposed and justified approach to the problem of robust stabilizing inventory control strategy synthesis in the supply network based on the invariant ellipsoids method as in the case of centralized and decentralized approach to the building of the control system. It is possible to attract a powerful mathematical apparatus of linear matrix inequalities, and the controller synthesis problem reduced to the problem of one-dimensional convex optimization and semidefinite programming, for which used modern computational methods and related software packages. To analyze the stability of the controlled supply network with synthesized decentralized regulators applied the method of comparison and mathematical apparatus of vector Lyapunov functions. As an example of practical application of the developed methods is given control solution to the problem of robust control system, centralized water supply.
