Purpose - to harmonize the international standard ISO 21528-1:2004 Microbiology of food and animal feeding stuffs - Horizontal methods for the detection and enumeration of Enterobacteriaceae - Part 1: Detection and enumeration by MPN technique with pre-enrichment. Enumeration is carried out by calculation of the most probable number (MPN) after incubation at 37°C in liquid medium in accordance with the requirements of the state system of standardization, regulation and legislation of Ukraine. The task - to make an identical translation of the international standard ISO 21528-1:2001, which establish a procedure for detecting microorganisms of the family Enterobacteriaceae, sample preparation and research microbiological method in accordance with the requirements that apply in the EU and in the world, followed by the introduction of this standard laboratories and research institutions.
