Object of research - the processes of development, implementation and dissemination of financial innovation in banking. Purpose of research - development theoretical and methodological bases, comprehensive investigation of the impact of financial innovations on the banking sector of Ukraine, designing of recommendations on their development in the post-crisis period. Methods of research - dialectical logic; structural, functional and situational analysis; an interdisciplinary approach; comparative statistical analysis, system analysis and synthesis; interviews, sociological studies; diagnostic methods (expert assessments, generalization) and other methods of scientific knowledge. Scientific novelty of the work: further development of theoretical-methodological approaches to the definition of "financial innovation", their classification and diffusion; summarized the foreign practice of introduction of financial innovation over the areas of products, processes, technologies, models; analyzed and summarized the results of sociological survey respondents workers and clients of the Bank to assess the level of innovation activity of domestic banks; practical recommendations for formation of organizational-economic mechanism of management of financial innovations, evaluation of the effectiveness and impact of financial innovations on banking activities.
