The necessity of using grid technologies for calculating variants of forecasting economic development of the administrative-territorial units of Ukraine taking into account the impact of economic and financial regulators. A system for imitation modeling of economic processes for performing distributed computing on grid clusters was developed. An editor tool for economic-mathematical models was developed as well as a standard for the modeling language for the economic processes of the imitation modeling system. The web-site for the "Ukrainian economic grid" virtual organization was designed and papers for its registration in the grid infrastructure were prepared. The system of imitation modeling of economic processes was adapted to calculations within the grid infrastructure.
