Research objective - to estimate radioprotective properties of the synthesized S-geteril modified cysteamin. Methods and equipment - radiobiological, haematological, biochemical, spectrophotometrical, histological, statistical. Equipment: x-ray installation RUM-17, universal dosimeter UNIDOS, the analyzer biochemical Express Plus, a microscope "Axiolab", object-micrometer, analytical scales. Theoretical and practical results - it is established the radioprotective activity of S-geteril modified cysteamin at acute radiation injure under the x-irradiation on doses range 4,0; 5,5; 6,2; 8,5 Gy and efficiency on factor decrease doses within the median lethal dose is 1,56, increase of integral survival rate at dose 6,2 Gy is 1,6 times, at dose 8,5 Gy - 3,3 times and increase of average life expectancy in irradiated rats is 1,3 times. The established hematoprotective activity is realized at dose 8,5 Gy on decrease in frequency of development hemopoietic injures in survival irradiated rats in 1,8 times and dead irradiated rats in 1,4 times, saving level of hemoglobin, erythrocytes, leukocytes and the total cell content of medullar. In modelling experiences with x-irradiation in vitro in doses 44,0 and 60,0 Гр high antiradical activity of S-geteril modified cysteamin in concentration 0,02 - 0,05 mg/ml in ferrumsulfate dosimetric system has been shown. Novelty - is is the first time an experimental estimation of radioprotective activity of a new class of chemical agents S-geteril modified cysteamin. Application - radiobiology, radiotherapy.
