The developed minimally invasive methods of treatment of diseases of liver, extrahepatic biliary ducts, varicose bleading, disseminated diseases of lungs and pleura, thoracic trauma, ventral and hiatal hernias, and GERD, based on endoscopic techniques, interventional radiology and other minimally invasive techniques, allow to improve results of treatment of these disorders. More than 1150 patients were treated using these methods as a part of the scientific program. Twofold or threefold reduction of terms of hospital stay, social and labour rehabilitation were achieved by these techniques compared to conventional methods. Good long-term outcomes were achieved as well.
