The Black Sea borders Ukraine constantly crossing vessels are epidemic hazards associated with contamination of ballast water, cargo containers pathogens of infectious and parasitic diseases. We investigated samples of ballast water from of vessels 3580 (3,542 foreign and Ukrainian 8) to: general microbial count (3354 samples) of the bacteria Escherichia coli (3563 samples), coliphage (3310 samples), pathogenic (3094 samples). In 0.48% of samples from international and 16.70% of Ukrainian of vessels exceeding the defined total microbial count of more than 10,000 cfu / ml. In 5.68% of samples from foreign and 12.25% of Ukrainian of vessels defined excess bacteria of E. coli 5000 CFU / 100 ml. The ballast water of vessels represent an epidemic hazard in relation to intestinal infections.
