Purpose of work: to research the features of nutrition and food status, state of motivation to the adequate food conduct of children of middle school age, who constantly live on radio-active muddy territories. Research methods: medical questionnaire; anthropometric; spectral dynamic; theoretical analysis and generalization of the special scientifically methodical literature, estimations of general physical capacity, motive-coordinating possibilities, estimation and correction of nutrition and food status, energetic charges, statistical. For period covered scientifically grounded ways of study of features of nutrition and food status, level of functional reserve of organism and state of motivation to the adequate food conduct of children of middle school age, who constantly live on radioactive muddy territories. 638 children are inspected (429 rural children and 209 city). Conducted estimation of food status with determination of level of physical development, the phenotypical signs of vitamin sufficientness are certain. It is set that morphological-functional indexes and level of functional reserve of organism of all inspected, in comparing to the recommended sizes, needs improvement (insufficiency of active mass of body, low level of development of fatty hypoderm, in most children there is an unsatisfactory level of functional activity of organism and BMI, insufficient force of muscles hands and motive activity).
