Lazaryan popup.description2 The purpose of this work is improvement of methods for assessing and improving the functional safety in operation work on the railways. Achievement of the purpose NDR was performed by performing the following main tasks: Development of methods of technical - operational evaluation measures to consolidate the rolling stock on the station tracks the development of techniques for improving the functional safety tones track circuits by introducing unified microprocessor receiver, creating a methodological base of calculation of rational modes of traction power; substantiation of rational parameters of electromechanical drives vehicles with flexible traction body considering resource saving technologies. The practical value of the results is as follows. Introduction of the developed unified microprocessor track receiver will enhance the functional safety and reliability tones track circuits, as well as reduce operating costs on their maintenance. The proposed methodology to ration the number of brake Lining Kit will allow by taking into account of additional parameters trains reduce the cost of fixing up to 30%. Using the conditions of rational transition paralleling devices traction substations will reduce the value of technological consumption of electricity in elements of the system power supply by 3-5%. Were developed the recommendations for modernization of vehicles with flexible traction body allow the development of the design with reduced power consumption, while ensuring compliance with the necessary requirements for durability, reliability and safety of these machines.
