A., Registration Date 31-01-2014 Organization Scientific-research department of alkali halide crystals with experimental manufacture STC "Institute for single crystals" NAS of Ukraine popup.description2 During this project were grown crystals of zinc tungstates ZnWO4, crystals of zinc tungstates activated by molybdenum ions ZnWO4:Mo and crystals of zinc tungstates activated by samarium ions ZnWO4:Sm. Their luminescent and scintillation characteristics were studied. ZnSe nanocrystals in the pores of the SiO2 matrix were obtained by two different methods (CVD and "chemical" methods). There was shown that the thermal quenching of the defect luminescence band in ZnSe nanocrystals weaker than in the bulk crystals and strongly depends on the nanocrystal size.
