Practical application of research results is to increase the tourist potential of individual regions and local areas by strengthening the informational component, reducing the cost of tourism market monitoring executed by public authorities and specialized departments of relevant ministries, raising additional funds to regional budgets through the commercial exploitation of the system of statistical data collection and processing. Recommendations on the organization of distributed information systems are provided in order to improve the efficiency of research of socio-economic processes.
