Optimum methodics of parametric provision of the 3D seismic survey was formed with the purpose of distinguishing perspective gas-saturated areas from the rocks of coal series of the Lviv-Volyn Coal Basin. On the basis of special features of the geological structure, predicted reserves of methane and the availability of geophysical and petrophysical information the Tyagliv field of the South-Western coal-bearing region was selected for further investigations for which information was collected and generalised, and the available geological-geophysical data were analysed. According to data of material processing of vertical seismic and acoustic logging, a velocity characteristics of the Paleozoic section was given, by the results of the statistical analysis of data of petrophysical studies of core the capacity-filtration properties were characterised and their correlative dependences were investigated.5481
