It was established that proteasome inhibitors - MG132 or bortezomib under arginine starvation decreased cell viability of human lung carcinoma A549, but pronounced additive effect was not observed. A549 cells after the combined influence of proteasome inhibitors MG132 or bortezomib and inhibitor of authophagy - chloroquine - had a reduced ability to restore growth compared to cells exposed to a single factor. However, the effect of the combination of these inhibitors and starvation for arginine on cell viability is moderate. Expression of arginyltransferase which regulates the process of proteasome degradation of the some regulatory proteins, is regulated at the translational level during starvation for arginine . Starvation for arginine selectively damages the proteasome degradation of the regulatory protein RGS4, depending on its N-terminal arginylation. Product Description popup.authors Барська М.Л.
