The analysis of thermodynamic cycles of technological schemes heat pump systems using as a refrigerant carbon dioxide and steam has been carried out. A flow diagram of the vacuum evaporative cooling system of a nuclear reactor with a vapor compression turbocharger has been proposed. Thermodynamic bases for the construction of new sorption - compression cycles thermotransformers have been developed. To creating a qualitatively new installations and energy for technological purposes with thermochemical compressed working fluid an approach to the definition of unique properties complex systems "hydrogen - metal hydrides" has been proposed
