The phenomenon of temperature hysteresis which change metal hydride system so that need to use add energy costs for return to its original state has been investigated. The hysteresis estimated by coefficient, which is the ratio of logarithms of pressure sorption -desorption of hydrogen at the appropriate concentration has been shown. An improved mathematical model of heat and mass transfer with temperature hysteresis, which takes into account a number of assumptions and is based on the assumption that the curve PCT - diagram is inclined plateau, has been proposed. The influence of the temperature hysteresis on efficiency and parameters of energy transformation systems using hydrogen as the working fluid in unsteady conditions has been considered
