The aim of the research is determination of model bare hulls boats in the scale of 1:20 and hulls with appandages resistance on forward movement, also scaling of results of model tests for determination of propulsion parameters and engines of real ship. Research methods are experimental research of effective forces in a towing tank, theory of hydrodynamical similarity flows. The basic results: the dependences for models bare hulls, hulls with appandages towing resistance and characteristics of the models equilibrium position on their speed (which range is from 1,7 up to 4,6 m/s) according to the results of the experiment in the NUS towing tank.
