The processes of melting of Zr1% Nb alloy based on magnesium thermal zirconium by methods of electron beam and vacuum arc melting were investigated. The influence of conditions of melting on the properties of the alloy samples was studied. Comparative tests of this alloy produced by different techniques were investigated.
