Research purpose - to develop new methods for preparing functionalized derivatives of 2-alkilpirimidines by the formation of new C-C bonds by reacting 2-thiouraciles with alkyl halides activated by electron-withdrawing groups (carbonyl, nitrile, ester), and the condensation of 2 - (2-oxo-2-ariletiliden) -2 ,3-dihydropyrimidine-4 (3H)-ones with aldehydes. A convenient one-pot process for synthesizing 2-alkylidene-1,3-dihydropyrimidine-4-ones developed. It has been established that the reaction of 6-methyl-2-thiouracil with bromtsianacetic ether in neutral medium leads to the formation of the corresponding alkilidenederivative, and alkali medium - to the product of intramolecular cyclization.
