Global models of stress-strain state in heterogeneous bodies have been constructed and studied. Inhomogeneities in the form of a finite number of cylinders, spheres, oblate or prolate spheroids were under consideration. The models have been investigated and software for their numerical implementation has been created. Mathematical model of geometrically nonlinear plate bending and the system of orthogonal coordinate functions in a rectangle in energy metric has been constructed.
