The object of investigation - the processes of growth and developing energy efficiency and ecological potential of forest forming species stands of Ukrainian Carpathians. The aim of the work - to work of the regulatory framework of biometric and forestry parameters of ecological and energy potential assessment of Ukrainian Carpathians stands. Methods of investigation - expert evaluation, mathematical modelling, general methods of analysis, synthesis, system analysis approach and facilities management with the use of statistical analysis forest indicators of forest fund Carpathian region of Ukraine. Results of investigations - designed table of modal growth of spruce, fir, beech and oak stands in the region. The analysis of the qualitative features (natural and basic density, the contents completely dry matter) components of aboveground phytomass spruce, silver fir and beech trees. Based on field research material collected mathematical models and normative reference tables to estimate quantitative parameters of aboveground phytomass components of the studied stands and deposited carbon in it are made. The estimation of total energy accumulated in aboveground phytomass stands forest forming species of the Carpathians and designed table of energy content in phytomass of trees and stands of the studied species, as well as tables of energy productivity been done.
