The optimized protocol of genetic transformation of dicotyledonous plants on the model objects Nicotiana tabaccum (protoplasts, calli, discs of leaf) using carbon nanotubes as carriers of DNA was done. To study the transformation activity of DNA-CNT complexes in monocot plants the method for obtaining callus from mature embryos of barley Hordeum vulgare was done.
