The new methods for determining its size, specifically by tools of electron microscopy, are developed. The regularities of the structural-phase state and physical-mechanical properties changes of the aircraft and thermal power plants steam pipelines after long-term service are established. The reduction of the fatigue crack growth resistance in corrosion environment for aluminium D16ATNV and V95T1 alloys from the upper and lower wing skins of AN-12 depending on the degradation grade in different areas of the wing is shown. It is elucidated that regularities of structural-phase state and operational damage influence on the coercive force of steam pipelines heat-resistant steels 12H1MF and 15H1M1F is determined by content of fine carbides, measuring up to 0.5 microns. The possibility to diagnose of technical state of long operated steam pipelines by measurements of coercive force of structural steels is experimentally proved. The approbation of eddy current probes composed universal eddy current flaw for the control of the real structural components is carried out. In particular, the method of the longitudinal fatigue cracks detecting in multilayer compound zone of "Boeing - 737" aircraft fuselage is developed.
