The technology bases of the gold NPs fabrication with predetermined sizes and shapes for maximum light scattering in the solar spectrum peak range were developed. The physical and chemical technology bases of the CdS films with gold NPs growth were developed. The CdTe thin films on CdS films with embedded gold NPs growth (Closed Volume Deposition technique) fundamentals were improved. Experimental samples of the ITO/n-CdS:NPs Au/p-CdTe/Ni solar cells were fabricated. It was demonstrated that the NPs increases the photoconversion efficiency by 13% (from 8.85 to 10.23%).5481
