Object of study - open-top wagons of models 12-9955, 12-9955-01, 12-9955-02 manufactured by Private Joint Stock Company “Scientific and production center “Transmash”. Object of work – to carry out a set of preliminary tests of open-top wagons models 12-9955, 12-9955-01, 12-9955-02 for conformity assessment of obtained values to the requirements of normative documents and technical documentation in force. Results of preliminary tests on clearance envelope negotiation tare weight determination, geometrical dimensions determination, static strength tests, impact tests, dynamic and running strength tests, static brake tests of wagons models 12-9955, 12-9955-01, 12-9955-02 are represented in this report and a conformity certificate to the requirements of normative documents was given. Research work results are used during the preparation of serial manufacture of wagons models 12-9955, 12-9955-01, 12-9955-02.
