The optimal combination of electrodes for separate generating oxygen and hydrogen in time was developed in the framework of this research as the outcome of design and numerical-theoretical investigations of advanced technical solutions for main units of electrolyzer. The structure of electrode packet was elaborated that include factors causing minimization of energetic overheads. The conclusion was done that methods for increasing the electrolyzer resource are depended both of device structure and operation regimes. It will be possible to elaborate the case of the electrolysis cell on the base outcomes in this research
