It was shown that atomic disorder in ferromagnetic electrodes made from Heusler alloys causes the decrease in magnetization and spin polarization degree of electrodes. Fabricated magnetic tunnel junctions based on half-metallic Heusler alloys manifest significant magnetoresistance. This fact opens the perspectives of practical application of such a heterostructures as magnetic sensors.
