Objective: improvement of prevention of cardiovascular disease (CVD), and improving the efficiency of the treatment of arterial hypertension (AH), coronary heart disease and their complications associated with certain diseases of internal organs, including civil servants. Methods: clinical, laboratory, instrumental, questionnaires, statistics. The results of the survey of 1238 hypertensive patients and 95 control subjects are presented. In addition, a retrospective analysis of 517 cases of myocardial infarction (MI) (outpatient medical records) was performed. The findings suggest a high prevalence of CVD risk factors among civil servants of various ages, and doctors, as well as lack of awareness of junior specialists with medical education on risk factors in them. It has been shown the higher incidence of cardiovascular complications (myocardial infarction, stroke) in men with AH and disorders of purine metabolism (hyperuricemia and gout), in comparison with those with normal levels of uric acid. The age structure and levels of morbidity and mortality due to MI among the contingent of civil servants were assessed. It was demonstrated the prognostic significance of renal dysfunction in the development of complications of MI. There were demonstrated the differences in terms of platelet aggregation (aggregation velocity, area) between the groups of patients with coronary artery disease and hypertension, receiving antiplatelet therapy, and control. It has been determined that in the group of patients with hypertensive dyscirculatory encephalopathy at working age (civil servants) predominant syndromes were vestibular and ataxic, cephalgia and cerebral asthenic. It has been shown that in patients with circulatory encephalopathy at working age (civil servants), with ischemic stroke related hypertension in anamnesis, such syndromes as mnestic and cerebral asthenic were predominant. Key words: cardiovascular disease, risk factors, hypertension, healthy food, civil servants, doctors, junior specialists with medical education, gout, hyperuricemia, myocardial infarction, polycythemia, anemia, kidney, aggregometry, platelets, hypertensive encephalopathy, vestibular disorder, ischemic stroke.
