Description

We carried out the comparative analysis of the coherent radiation of ultrarelativistic electron in thin crystals and other mechanisms of radiation by of fast electrons in oriented crystals. The possibility of an experimental study of coherent radiation of high-energy electrons in thin crystals at SPS CERN accelerator was shown. Measurements of the most probable ionization energy losses of relativistic electrons as a function of the length of particle trajectories in thin detector with controlled thickness were carried out. We have shown the possibility of using of such a detector to study the evolution of the ionization energy losses of electrons at a high-energy accelerator.
